Buckeye Book Press is the place to go to find books on early Ohio history. Established in 2000, Buckeye Book Press has published a trio of titles by Gary S. Williams describing the fascinating events and people of this colorful era.
As the first state to be settled by free Americans with Constitutionally guaranteed civil liberties, Ohio set the tone for all U.S. westward expansion that followed. Yet this grand experiment was by no means assured of success, as it was doubted that the new nation had the strength to defeat the Native Americans who resided here and the various European powers who sought control of the area for themselves. The story of the successful settlement of Ohio is the story of America itself.

The diverse characters involved in this effort are at the heart of the books by Gary S. Williams. At this site, you can read about these books and what others are saying about them, order the books for yourself or as a gift, see a list of future speaking engagements, and contact the author about speaking to your organization.
